It's more fun in the Philippines!

Baguio Cathedral
       Baguio city
-Baguio city is located in Northern Luzon. Baguio city is very high causing it to have cold climate. To some Baguio city is a great place to tour during summer. Their food speciality is Strawberries because of their cold weather. If you took a ride with a bus or a private car, you can see a big sculpture of lion on your way there. This is a great place for relaxation and enjoyment. I have already tasted their ‘Strawberry taho’ and it really tasted good, very delicious, sweet and healthy because of its components of strawberry and soymilk.

When you go there you can see Mines View Park and Camp John Hay. Camp John Hay has a hotel too. There is also a ride there where you can ride a boat and paddle it on the water. You can ride horse too there.

Six years ago, my family and I went there because of our church conference in Baguio Convention Center. Although I didn’t taste their strawberry taho, but I tasted the Baguio made strawberry. Every morning, we always go on jogging. The very cool and refreshing air is so awesome when you jog. I paddled a boat together with my dad and rided a horse. I really enjoyed my stay there.

          Boracay Island
-Boracay is located in Aklan and near Catiklan. Boracay has no airport so it may take time before going there. The nearest airport is in Kalibo, Aklan, then you take a van going to Catiklan and it may take three to four hours before reaching to Catiklan. When you reached Catiklan you’ll take a boat and then land in Boracay Island in just a few minutes. There are other ways than this.

Boracay Island is just small but you can really enjoy there. There are many hotels and resort there and every summer many tourists go there and see the beauty of nature.
They are rich in aquatic resources there and has a clear water. Surely, you’ll be tired when the day ends because of many activities you can do there. The activities include Diving, surfing, Island hoping, swimming and many more! In my Experience, We rented a boat for Island Hoping, far from land, you can swim and get to see some sea creatures. During Island Hoping, you can see the house of famous boxer, Manny Pacquiao there. After that Island Hoping, I swam with my friends until midnight. At dinner, you can enjoy buffets with fresh fish and grilled pork and fish. You can also see fire dancers dancing in front of the beach. In Boracay, nightlife is very active there. Many people drink beers and cocktails. Very great experience I had there and amazed when I saw the beauty of nature, the sea, animals and forest.

       Subic Freeport Zone
-Located 110 Kilometers north of Manila, facing the Zambales Mountain Range to the west and the Subic Bay opening to the west Philippine Sea. It is the first Successful Filipino military base managed by the United States. Subic is surrounded by many trees. There are many places to go here, one is the Ocean Adventure. My family and I went there five years ago. We saw different kind of sea creatures, like dolphins and sea lions. These two animals do tricks. Also a tourist destination here is the Subic Safari. Subic Safari is like a zoo with different kind of animals and some of them can’t be seen on Manila zoo. Great place to see.

Mayon Volcano
-Mayon Volcano is located near province of Albay, Bicol region. Mayon Volcano is the most active volcano in the Philippines said by the PHIVOLCS. It is the main landmark in Albay province. It is one of the famous volcanos here in the Philippines and worldwide because its near-perfect cone shaped volcano. You can do many activities there like, enjoying the cold air on the middle part of the volcano. You can buy souvenirs there made in Bicol and of course they are good in sweetened peanuts or so-called Pili nuts. You can do many activities there such as hiking, climbing, bird watching and photography. Also one of the historic place in Bicol is the Cagsawa church. It was built 1724 and destroyed by the eruption of Mayon Volcano during 1814. Now it looks like park now and in there is the remains of Cagsawa Church.
